How to Play Word Wipe
Press and drag across adjacent tiles to spell a word. You can connect letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — any of a tile's 8 neighbors count. Words must be at least 4 letters long.
When a valid word is found, those tiles are wiped from the board. The tiles above each gap fall down to fill empty spaces. If an entire column empties, the remaining columns slide together to keep the board compact.
Every time a full row or column becomes completely empty after tiles fall, it counts as a cleared "line." Collect 9 cleared lines to finish the level and advance. The progress bar below the timer shows how many lines you've cleared.
A countdown timer runs throughout the game. If time reaches zero before you've cleared 9 lines, the game ends. Watch the timer — when it turns red you're running low on time!
If the remaining tiles on the board contain no more valid words at all, the board is considered fully solved — you win the level immediately, no matter how many lines you'd cleared. Chain long words to create cascades and reach this state faster!

What's the minimum word length?
Words must be at least 4 letters long. The game uses a curated dictionary of over 43,000 English words specifically tuned for Word Wipe gameplay, so unusual 4-letter words may not always be accepted.
What happens when time runs out?
If the countdown timer reaches zero before you've cleared 9 lines, the game ends. Hit "New Game" to start a fresh session from Level 1.
